About Me

About Image 1

I'm Hinna, a first-gen American and undergraduate student at St. John's University with a passion for both cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Growing up in a multicultural environment sparked my curiosity early on, driving me to explore how technology can break barriers and create opportunities for people everywhere.

I love experimenting with different programming languages and pushing myself out of my comfort zone through community-focused projects, because I believe hands-on learning is the best teacher. Outside of engineering, I serve as the Information Officer for the STJ ACM Student Chapter, where I enjoy helping people gain confidence in tech.

I also serve as the Outreaching Officer for Women in STEM, working to empower more women to dive into the tech field. Along the way, traveling has become my passion, and I've visited over 15 countries and counting! From each new place, I bring home fresh perspectives that inspire my next steps in tech.
